Join the Campus Environmental Center and the UT Sustainability Network for a day of fun activities and tons of free goodies in celebration of Earth Day 2008! On Tuesday, April 22nd from 10a.m. to 3p.m., we will have activities on the West Mall, McCombs School Patio, East Mall, and the FAC Atrium, so take the time out of your day to give the Earth a hug!
The Campus Environmental Center will be celebrating its 5th year Anniversary on the West Mall with free cake and Sweet Leaf Tea! Come learn about all our fantastic committees and how we have spent the last five years creating change and serving the UT campus. Join in on one of our fun activites and win a prize or get yourself into a drawing for a refurbished laptop! Or bring two recyclables -- plastic bottles, cans, ink, and plastic bags -- and get a free reusable tote bag! SURGe and GREEN will also be joining the CEC on the West Mall for tabling fun!
The UT Sustainability Network will be on the East Mall with tables for 30 different organizations (to learn more about UTSN visit http://www.esi.utexas.edu/research/sustainability.html).
