How do I get involved in the CEC?
The Campus Environmental Center is open to anyone who wants to help protect the environment and get involved on UT Campus. If you are interested what we do, visit the Get Involved tab at the top of the screen and come out to the CEC Meetings on Wednesdays from 6-7:30pm in PAR 206. The first half of our meetings will deal with general CEC initiatives and news while in the second half we will break off into our respective committees and work on more specific projects. You can also email [email protected] expressing your interest in a specific committee or the CEC in general. Or you can sign up for our mailing list on the right side of this page.
What type of things does the CEC do?
The Campus Environmental Center is a very diverse organization and works on a great many projects all around campus. We do everything from Trash To Treasure, a large campus wide garage sale, to drafting and passing a Climate Action Resolution aimed at encouranging the university to be carbon neutral. Where is the CEC office?
The Campus Environmental Center office is now located on the first floor in the Student Services Building (SSB). We are located in SSB 1.302 which is located in the southeast corner of the building. Click here for a map. Our office hours will be announced soon.

How can I keep up to date with the goings on of the CEC?
In order to keep up with everything we do it is best to sign up for our mailing list on the right side of the page. We send out weekly newsletters letting eveyone know when our committees are meeting that week and what events we are doing. However, you can also keep track of us on twitter and facebook. We also have a calendar on our website located here and a list of our upcoming large events located here.
